A small store that sells a single item, tells you where it comes from, and stands behind it.
002 / The idea
Halden makes one lamp. It is sourced from a factory in Dongguan that we have visited twice, tested for 400 hours, and sold with a two-year guarantee. That is all the brand is.
We started with a desk lamp we could not find: steady, repairable and honest about where it was made. So we found a factory, tested samples for months, and now sell the one that passed.

Why one product
A store with one item can put all its effort into that item: testing it, photographing it honestly, answering every question about it.

Where it is made
In a factory in Dongguan, China. We have visited twice. It is sourced through a supplier network, and we say so.

What we will not do
Countdown timers, fake stock counters, invented reviews, sale-that-never-ends pricing. Prices stay where they are.
